Selma Jubilee Mock Trial
Championed programming that exposes students to trial advocacy and connects legal education to civil rights history.

Led 2025 policy discussions with civil rights organizations including CAIR, the Lawyers’ Committee for Civil Rights, and the ACLU.
Global Advocacy
Participated in Diaspora Summit work in Accra, Ghana and AfCFTA efforts focused on trade, investment, and opportunity.

Served as Vice-Chair of the Law Student Division and helped increase student engagement with the NBA.
Why Hamid
A practical leader with a personal story of resilience.
Hamid did not take a traditional path to law or leadership. His journey includes communications, graphic design, teaching, organizational development, community service, and civil litigation. That background gives him a practical understanding of how to build systems, communicate clearly, fundraise, engage members, and create opportunities for others.
As Vice President, Hamid will bring that same work ethic to strengthening the NBA’s internal capacity, external partnerships, and member value.
